Pathways for Young Adults Program

Thank you for your interest in the Greater Washington Urban League's Pathways for Young Adults Program in Entrepreneurship. We have partnered with the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (DOES) to provide the best in entrepreneurial training.

 

 

This program will require a maximum of 20 hours per week starting on Monday, March 18, 2019 and continuing until September 2019 with check-in/follow-up for 12 months. If accepted, you will receive an hourly stipend for your participation and efforts. The deadline to apply is March 13, 2019. (Click here to apply)

What does the Pathways for Young Adults Program Do: 

 

This program is designed to help you launch a business while increasing your ability to solve problems, remove obstacles, and set goals. By the end of the program, you will have grown as an entrepreneur, started a business, and will be able to direct others in starting a business. 

 

To be eligible for the program you must be:

- 18-24 y/o
- DC Resident
- Not in school
- Limited to no employment
- Department of Employment Services approved (requires documentation and DOES assessment)
