Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) FOR PROSPECTIVE OWNERS AND RENTERS

The Greater Washington Urban League is providing Inclusionary Zoning Orientations. The purpose of this training is to teach prospective renters and owners about units that are developed and renovated with funding provided by the DC Department of Housing and Community Development and the DC Housing Finance Agency.

What is Inclusionary Zoning??
Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) is a law that requires affordable residential units (Inclusionary Units) be set aside in either a new development or a substantial rehabilitation in exchange for a bonus density.
