GWUL Announces The Launch Of The Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) is designed to assist District of Columbia residences who are facing housing crises that result in homelessness or presents an imminent risk of homelessness by providing emergency rental assistance to eligible low-income families, elderly individuals aged 60 or older, disabled adults and adults who are non-elderly, non-disabled and without minor children. Emergency Rental Assistance payments are for rental arrearages, security/damage deposits and/or first month’s rent.
