Managing Student Loan Debt - Public Student Loan Forgiveness

On October 6, 2021, the Department of Education announced sweeping, but temporary changes to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. This session will explain in detail the eligibility requirements for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. The session will also go into detail about to the temporary waivers for PSLF that opens up eligibility for borrowers who may have been on the wrong plan or had the wrong loans in the past. This session is critical for employees of PSLF eligible employers, including non-profit and government employers, and their Human Resources and employee training areas.
