Coordinator/Assistant - Weatherization
Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the organization of documents and coordinating with other team members the project calendar for the GWUL’s Weatherization Program Grant. The candidate will assist with planning, implementing, and marketing for the three divisions of the Weatherization programs in Washington, DC. Associates degree in administration or related field required, or any equivalent combination of education and training which provides the requisite knowledge and skills. 3-5 years previous experience in office management, or administrative operations, or related fields which provide the requisite abilities for this job. Requires travel locally.
The Staff Accountant is integral to driving continuous process improvements related to the payment and receipt processing cycles. The Staff Accountant is responsible for bookkeeping, reporting and administrative functions related to vendor and customer account management including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable and general ledger analysis.
Senior Case Manager is part of a Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) that offers short-term rental subsidies and unit inspection services to families at risk of homelessness. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating client-facing services for rental and client rental contributions payments, inspections, as well as troubleshoot any landlord related issues. The Senior Case Manager ensures the information on clients and landlords is accurate and uploads pertinent data in the designated systems in a timely manner. In addition, the Senior Case Manager will need to provide one-on-one assistance to clients and landlords participating in the program, coordinate and troubleshoot any issues pertaining to landlord relationships, inspections or rental payments.
Salary: up to $58,000/year
Case Manager is part of a Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) that offers short-term rental subsidies and unit inspection services to families at risk of homelessness. The Case Manager will need to provide one-on-one assistance to clients and landlords participating in the program, coordinate and troubleshoot any issues pertaining to landlord relationships, inspections or rental payments. The incumbent will ensure the information available for clients and landlords is accurate and uploads pertinent data in the designated systems in a timely manner. The Case Manager is expected to coordinate and work closely with the Senior Case Manager and to team up with other staff working on the FRSP program, such as: customer care specialists, inspection coordinators account payable and receivable specialists etc. to provide the highest level of care to clients participating in the program.
Salary: up to $50,000/year
This position supports the financial management of the Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) that offers short-term rental subsidies and unit inspection services to families at risk of homelessness. The Associate Director Finance will manage the budget, monitor spending and producr financial reports; track and resolve rental payment discrepancies, and prepare monthly invoices and support documentation. The incumbent will supervise, direct and coordinate financial activities of staff, including reviewing financial documents and records for accuracy, oversee the client rental payments process, reviewing and preparing all financial documents needed to authorize rental payments, prepare periodic financial reports and serve as the primary point of contact for all budget related questions for the program.
Salary: up to $100,000/year
Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist is part of a team supporting a Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) that offers short-term rental subsidies and unit inspection services to families at risk of homelessness. This position works on clerical and administrative functions related to vendor management including rental payment processing, client rental contributions, rental payment information validation, account reconciliation, monitoring bank balances and producing appropriate financial reports. The incumbent is expected to be customer focused, and responsive to client, vendor, and staff supporting the FRSP program.
Salary: up to $60,000/year
The Program and Budget Analyst is part of the team managing the Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP). Responsibilities include developing financial and program reports, identifying program specific trends to support senior management, and overseeing effective program management and implementation. This position will be responsible for monitoring compliance with financial, administrative and service delivery requirements including management and vendor communication and support senior management with special projects.
Salary: up to $80,000/year
Customer Care Specialist (CCS) is a key member the Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) team, program that provides short-term rental assistance to families at risk of homelessness. CCS works under direct supervision of the Associate Program Director; and performs clerical and customer support functions related to clients and landlords participating in the program, including receiving inquiries via phone and email from program participants, triaging the requests and escalating for resolution to the appropriate program staff, inputs data into designated systems and keeps the program team abreast of any outstanding issues experienced by the program participants. The incumbent is expected to be responsive to client and vendor communication and promote a professional office environment.
Program Coordinator - Project Rapid Reconnect
Project Rapid Reconnect provides short-term rental and utility assistance, along with case management to those families experiencing homelessness. The Program Coordinator addresses the housing search and employment needs to start families on a path of self-sufficiency such as: housing stability focused case management, assistance on finding an affordable apartment, connection to employment and training, and connection to community resources. In this role the incumbent will build trusting relationships with DHS/FSA, and clients (as deemed necessary) to ensure rental subsidy payments are processed and information is communicated to the Supervisor in a timely and accurate manner.
The Program Coordinator is part of a team tasked with the Project Reconnect rental assistance program. Under general supervision, the Program Coordinator is responsible for, not limited to, coordinating with applicants through a data application and DHS data base application, to facilitate eligibility and request payments. In this role the incumbent will build trusting relationships with DHS/FSA, and clients (as deemed necessary) to ensure client payments are processed, information is communicated to the Supervisor and client data is uploaded into the designated data system and excel workbooks in a timely manner throughout the assistance process.
