Solution To The Pollution

I would do a few things to improve transportation services in my community. First, I would write a letter to the Department of Natural Resources telling them about the amount of pollution in my community and how it affects the land and water. I would tell them about what I have learned as part of the Greater Washington Urban League Youth Program. I would ask them to hold community meetings to discuss what can be done to help reduce pollution from the vehicles that pass through the community.

Second, I would establish a group to go to different neighborhoods and talk about pollution and transportation issues. This is important because more people would want to come live in Washington D.C. if they didn't have to worry about pollution and they knew that they could get where they need to go using public transportation. The District of Columbia is the capitol of the United States and should have the cleanest environment and the best transportation system possible.
