Walking in the Hood

Well, my neighborhood is not a very nice place for people to walk because there are a lot of uneven sidewalks. There are also two neighborhood parks that could be nice for evening strolls but are run down and are in need of renovation.

I think that we, the community residents, should repair these sidewalks and parks. Then more people would enjoy walking the distance to and from their home.

Also, people should begin walking to the store. People could both save money from the gasoline they would use if they drove a car and help the environment. This alone would be a big improvement in the pedestrian environment in my neighborhood.
