WASA, through S.P.L.A.S.H. - Serving People by Lending A Supporting Hand, offers assistance to families in need so that they can maintain critical services, like water, until they get back on their feet. S.P.L.A.S.H. is funded solely by contributions from the community, as well as from thoughtful customers. The program is administered directly by the Greater Washington Urban League and every dollar received by WASA is distributed to eligible customers. To learn more about the program, click here. (-)

DAVITA JOB FAIR ON THURSDAY, MAY 22
The Greater Washington Urban League will host a job fair for Davita on Thursday, May 22 from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Davita is recruiting for the following positions:

- RN’s (Acute and Chronic facilities) minimum of 1 year providing nursing care of acutely ill patients; medical/surgical experience. Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Patient Care Technicians must have recent experience as one of the following: Medical Assistant-(MA), Patient Care Technician- (PCT) or Phlebotomist. Must also have High School diploma or GED and a current CPR certification.
- Other positions include registered dieticians, MSW social workers (LICSW, LGSW) and facility administrators.
